"Stay away from that wild beast." the elders used to say. "It's just Old Dog." we'd answer. He'd been there, sprawled tamely on the ground, ever since we could remember. We never listened, as we watched him lying there on his chain. He can't get to us. We would dare each other to walk up to him. He's tame. He wouldn't hurt us. He wouldn't hurt anyone.

We were wrong.

Old Dog had been on that chain for so long that he knew the exact length of it. He knew the exact distance he needed to leap at the height to knock a man down. Old Dog was just waiting; waiting for the moment that man came into his circle of death, because Old Dog wasn't really a dog at all.

Redo of something from 4 years ago, scanned and photoshopped a bit.

:3 I love the way it's drawn. That with the little story below really reminds me of those old trading card games, where it'd give a name of an item, a detailed shot, and some ominous story just like this one. You did a great job on the perspective for the middle drawing ^^!

Old Dog - 3/3 Green Creature (Wolf)

Tap: Strike Range - If Old Dog was attacked by a creature during the previous two turns, destroy that creature.

FX: Unchained - If there are three or more wolf creatures in play, including Old Dog, Old Dog does not tap to attack.

1 Green: One Wolf - For every other wolf creature in your control, Old Dog gets +3 ATK.
